Some might think that the success of a first post lies in the clever or well worded. Or it may require some imagery or video that launches a viral craze. But this isn’t that sort of place. It’s simply an announcement of intent and commitment to sharing the adventures that unfold on the saddle of a 2002 BMW R1150 GS Adventure.
Motorcycling, for me, is a very zen experience. The idea of discovering something new around each turn propels me further. A chance to see things for the first time. Meet folks, share stories…and do it again and again.
So, while we live in this world of accelerating technology, convenience and ‘better’, I simply want to take things…a little slower.
Breathe in a little deeper.
And get to know some of the people and places around me.
And if a nice community of like minded adventurers and storytellers is able to grow from this organic effort, then all the better I say.
